Our Story

Apparel as Kingdom work.

For The King began with a simple conviction: what if the clothes on our backs could preach? What if a shirt could fund a rescue? What if wearing the name of Jesus could become a declaration — not a decoration?

We are not a fashion brand. We are a mission with merchandise. Every drop is designed to point to the risen Christ and to fund the front lines of His Kingdom in Uganda.

The Founder

A Warrior. A Father. A Mission.

Jordan Ames is not a businessman who found faith. He is a warrior who was called.

After 21 years as a Marine Raider — conducting over 80 direct action missions across Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond — Jordan retired from one of the most elite special operations forces in the world. But the mission didn't end. It just changed.

Today, Jordan leads with the same conviction that carried him through combat: if a vision can be accomplished without God's intervention, it's too small. He founded Red Letter Leadership to equip business owners and church teams to pursue bold, God-sized objectives — and he serves as Project Consultant for Red Letter Pursuit, a counter-human trafficking mission disrupting networks along the Ugandan border.

That mission is the heartbeat behind For The King. Every purchase funds the front lines — advocates for victims, protection for vulnerable communities, and dignity for those who have been robbed of it.

Jordan and his wife Sarah have been married 18 years. They are parents to seven children, six adopted through foster care in Pennsylvania and from an orphanage in Ethiopia. Their family is proof that obedience into the impossible is exactly where God shows up.

What We Stand On

Four pillars.

Faith

Jesus is the center. Without Him, none of this matters.

Love

Without borders. Without conditions. Without hesitation.

Action

Faith without works is dead. We move.

Justice

The trafficked are seen. The lost are sought. The Kingdom is coming.
